This super simple garter stitch blanket has an I-cord edge and is worked with two strands of worsted weight yarn held double. I used several skeins of yarn from my stash that resulted in a colorful squishy blanket. It’s a great project for mindless knitting and with US 15 / 10mm needles, it eats delicious yarn in no time at all, leaving lots of empty space in your yarn box or cabinet or room to fill with new wooly acquisitions.
Sometimes it takes a Grrlfriend to save the day! Knit this versatile market bag for a friend who could use a helping hand - even if it’s just with the groceries!
Katelyn Nelson's insight:
This pattern is a two-month extravaganza! July and August of the knit-of-the-month club are devoted to everything you need in order to make the Grrlfriend Market Bag! I have posted all of the videos for both months at once, so they will be all together.
An excellent scarf or dishcloth pattern! Dishcloths that comes out square and lay flat - scarves that look great or male or female - an excellent pattern for making gift-giving scarves! Both sides are beautiful, so this makes a great reversible pattern. The stitch pattern is a multiple of 3 +1 - so cast on any amount you want and get the same great look! Looks great in solids, ombres and stripes!
