Have you ever had clients who weren't yet sold onFacebook? Most people know Facebook could potentially help them grow their businesses, but getting a page set up and managed properly can still be a daunting task for many folks.

First off, you might need to nudge your clients toward acting. When researching your pitch, find examples of similar businesses that have vibrant Facebook presences. Let the clients know what they're missing out on. You can also get their attention by showing them the data on Facebook's exponential user growth and the mind-blowing predictions of continued growth. Sigrid, in my opinion, the best plan is to sell yourself on social media. Trust is the most important in this world and if your company name is not Nike or something like that, your name is definitely the best plan to create confidence.

Social Media Tools That Support Google+: Solutions for Small Business

Social Media Tools That Support Google+: Solutions for Small Business | Kit's social | Scoop.it

Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn can be found in the majority of social media management apps. It is with Google+ that things get a little bit more complicated: very few social media tools support it due to some technical challenges.

However, most social media managers would prefer a solution that would allow them posting to all social networks in one place, Google+ including.

In this post, you’ll find reference to all tools that are to date integrated with Google+. We’ll bring small business editions to a special focus and review social tools that (1) support Google+ and (2) the ones you can use for free or under $10 a month.

How Do You Find The Time For Social Media? - Forbes

How Do You Find The Time For Social Media? - Forbes | Kit's social | Scoop.it

How do you find the time for social media? This is the question I get asked probably more than any other.

I have four lovely children, a demanding job, a wife with a successful career and more. So how do I find the time to tweet, blog, share, and comment?

The answer is simple: I make the time for social media because I think it’s important.

I believe that business people in general, and marketers especially, have an obligation to do more than just consume content or share other people’s content, but to become a content creator and to contribute to your work and your life.

I think its fair to stay that at the beginning of your social media journey it can be very time consuming getting to grips with the different platforms and building up followers and looking for decent content to share. You also have to develop your style. That said, with the right tools and mindset your time investment lessens substantially - unless you get hooked!
Martin Gysler's comment, April 19, 2013 7:56 AM
Indeed, at the beginning the most things are difficult and need more time. After it's rather the mind set who dictate the invested time in social media, it's right, I agree with you Gemma. But in my sens the invested time is worth it because it create many very interesting contacts across the world.

Six interesting examples of gamification in ecommerce

Six interesting examples of gamification in ecommerce | Kit's social | Scoop.it

The video game industry is worth more than $100bn worldwide, so it's no surprise that businesses are using gamification to try to boost sales.

The idea is that by adding gaming elements to the sales process, such as small challenges and rewards, you can increase customer loyalty and advocacy.

As in every game or competition, the participants have to be motivated by a worthwhile reward. It’s also true that the greater the reward, the more you can ask people to do to earn the reward.
