Where technology, mindfulness, cyber bullying and kids come together :-)
Playtoon and the Crap SMS
When I wrote this book I intended it to be a funny book. Yes, it is a serious subject: cyber bullying, but if children were taught at a very young age the difference between what we think and what is reality, there would be less bullying and kids would know how to manage situations like this.
This is where mindfulness comes in pair with technology. To easily explain it, take it as if each one of us is a broadcasting station. I am a station that broadcasts what I believe in and so you are. As we broadcast different beliefs all the time and at the same time, it makes it very difficult for one person to deeply understand other people’s broadcastings.
And what I broadcast it nothing more than what I believe in; a thought, it is not the reality, I broadcast my thoughts and so you do. I f we understand that, if children were taught that at a very young age. There would be two great consequences that would change the world.
1…People (kids and grownups) would stop pushing for their broadcasting station to be the reality of others.
2…People (kids and grownups) would know what to do if others still believe that they have a universal broadcasting station.
