There is definitely not shortage of notetaking and webclipping apps. When it comes to notetaking you can do a lot with google apps themselves. However , if you want to keep everything in one place you have to use a notetaking app. The most popular notetaking app, both on android and iOS is Evernote.

When I first installed Evernote on my mobile device I had a real “wow” experience. However, the free version does not allow you to save notes on your mobile device and that means its use for mobile learning is quite limited and becomes useless even for shopping where you have not 3G access.

Springpad on the contrary is completely free and allows you to do most things the paid version of Evernote lets you do plus some more nice features including adding notes directly from web search and barcode scanner (QR codes). It has an intuitive app, web interface as well as browser plugins (chrome and firefox). What’ s more springpad snycs with google services (as well as, yahoo, facebook and others).

Om du inte tycker om att lägga på din egen röst på ett bildspel med förklaringar, ska du absolut titta på den svenskutvecklade gratistjänsten SlideTalk.net.  Idén är att man skriver text till varje bild som behöver förklaras. Sedan finns det sju svenska röster att välja bland som läser upp texterna (totalt finns 70 röster). Du kan påverka röstläget, lägga in pauser, välja snabbhet på talet och blanda manliga och kvinnliga röster.

Färdigställ bildspelet - från PowerPoint-fil eller enskilda bilder med texter - förhandsgranska, ändra och publicera. Med litet övning kan säkert texterna låta  mer naturliga och tydliga - http://bit.ly/10uTAGc.

Själva publiceringen tog ett litet tag. Bildspelet konverteras och blir en video som laddas upp till SlideTalks kanal hos YouTube. Med gratistjänsten blir videon offentlig. Om det här sättet att lägga på texter passar dig, kan du köpa ett årsabonnemang på tjänsten ganska billigt. En väldigt trevlig tjänst med svenska röster!

Here’s a common scenario. Someone emails and asks about an elearning tutorial I have on the blog. It’s not always easy to find the specific tutorial buried in a given post. In fact, there are many times I either forgot that I had created that tutorial or I can’t recall where it’s at either. I know. It’s part of getting older.

 

Today I am going to fix that. I have listed every blog post that has a video tutorial that shows how to create something related to online learning. So, if you’re just getting started with building online learning courses (or new to the blog), now you have a handy resource with links to all sorts of rapid elearning tutorials.
