Ms. Cruz's students: Computer Science Week is December 9-15. Particpate in increasing student awearness of Technology careers. Create a poster about one of the careers in the article. The poster should help students become aware of careers in the tech field. Use PowerPoint, one image from the article, Wordle, and information from the article to inform 6 to 8th grade students about their future possibilities. Only 5 students per career. Post a reply with the career title you selected under the Edmodo assignment. Once 5 students have selected a career, it is no longer available for use. The PowerPoint Adjust group in Picture Tools must be used. Cite your image source at the bottom right hand corner of the poster. Use a small font size with this wording (Image Source: ). Do not include the parenthesis. Do not include your name on the poster. Research graphic design tips and look at posters to get ideas. Plan to do this assignment in school to take advantage of PowerPoint 2010. Earn 40 XP and an additional 10 XP if your poster is selected to be displayed on campus (there is no limit to the number of posters selected for display). Be creative. Give the effort. Prezi, a popular alternative to Microsoft PowerPoint and other presentation applications, launched a new version of its interface today. The company, which is advised by Jack Dorsey, also announced that it has passed the 15 million user milestone. For those not familiar, Prezi uses a map-like metaphor for creating presentations instead of a slideshow metaphor.
