Big Pharma Big Money : Documentary on the Money and Corruption of Big Pharmaceutical Companies - YouTube

Sara Militello
I appreciate your trying to help. I'm a strict vegetarian and also was in the best of health my whole adult life til this ravaged my body 6 years ago. However, the damage is so extensive on my organs that I have to take some pretty heavy duty stuff that cleans through my arteries a lot more intensely. I've almost died several times in the last couple years. My organs are beginning to go into a lot of decline and I don't know how much time I have. I spend every bit of time I can (when I'm not sick in bed which is a lot) doing whatever work I can to keep a roof over my head and do public speaking as well as internet outreach on this topic.

While it is important for anyone that is ill from these weather manipulation programs to take such protocols as you've been suggesting, the trees and other plant life, and the animals can't detox from this. We're losing our bees by the billions. Trees are dying or dead everywhere. We need our trees for oxygen. We lose them, we're finished. That's why it's so very important to please get out there to stop these weather modification programs.

I recommend everyone learn all they can from the links I put in my comment and you can have any and all videos from my playlists on The Lies Behind Global Warming and Climate Change and From The Bees To The Trees Chemtrails Death Machine.

Do everything you can to inform as many as you can where you live and elsewhere. Time is not something we have anymore. I've met people who lost loved ones to this and weren't able to fight this. But I'm still here 6 years into this, I don't however expect to be here another 6 years, so please help me everyone while your health is still in tact and learn these things, share them, pay attention to your trees and the skies, get others to see them too, get angry and organized and demand this stops. The whole Earth depends on it. Thank you

We all need to stop eating meat now, and this is why

We all need to stop eating meat now, and this is why | Karmic Pantry | Scoop.it
I keep stumbling across books ranging from Donald Griffin’s The Question of Animal Awareness (1976) to Carl Sarfina’s Beyond Words: What Animals Think and Feel (2015). It seems abundantly clear to me that animals feel as we do and suffer as we do. Crows use tools, whales have culture, pigs can learn and cows interact socially. Moreover, the difference between us and the animals is one of degree, not type. Christianity teaches us we are apart from the animals, but these days only the most deluded zealot could believe we are anything other than very clever monkeys.
Once you take this on board factory farming becomes pretty much unconscionable. It’s disgusting for the animals – from the mutilation and the crowding to the lazy cruelty and artificially accelerated growth. And its disgusting for the environment: 10,000 slurry ponds can’t be wrong. It’s even disgusting for human health because life’s going to get a lot more interesting when antibiotics stop working. Indeed, the only way you can eat factory-farmed meat is to not to think about it – or not to care.
So, you wonder, could organic, high-welfare farming be our get-out-of-jail-free card? Well, it’s better, sort of. But even so, you’re still keeping thinking, feeling beings in some sort of captivity in order to turn them into nuggets and burgers. Besides, organic food is expensive and, while I can afford it, I’m loathe to advocate Farrow & Ball solutions to people on Dulux budgets.

The Myth of Big, Bad Gluten

The Myth of Big, Bad Gluten | Karmic Pantry | Scoop.it
AS many as one in three Americans tries to avoid gluten, a protein found in wheat, barley and rye. Gluten-free menus, gluten-free labels and gluten-free guests at summer dinners have proliferated.

Some of the anti-glutenists argue that we haven’t eaten wheat for long enough to adapt to it as a species. Agriculture began just 12,000 years ago, not enough time for our bodies, which evolved over millions of years, primarily in Africa, to adjust. According to this theory, we’re intrinsically hunter-gatherers, not bread-eaters. If exposed to gluten, some of us will develop celiac disease or gluten intolerance, or we’ll simply feel lousy.

Most of these assertions, however, are contradicted by significant evidence, and distract us from our actual problem: an immune system that has become overly sensitive.

Egg yolk extract could allow people with celiac disease to eat gluten

Egg yolk extract could allow people with celiac disease to eat gluten | Karmic Pantry | Scoop.it
If you or someone you know has celiac disease, then you'll know how much it can limit one's diet. Because people with the autoimmune condition have a negative reaction to the gluten in grains such as wheat, rye or barley, that means they can't consume many baked goods, pastas, liquors, or any number of processed foods that use wheat as a binding agent. Soon, however, they may be able to eat whatever they want – if they take a new egg-based supplement first.

The supplement was developed by associate professor Hoon Sunwoo and retired professor Jeong Sim, at Canada's University of Alberta.

Utilizing a compound derived from the yolks of chicken eggs, it binds with gluten in the stomach. This keeps a class of proteins known as gliadin, which is the "problem" component of gluten, from damaging the absorptive surface of the small intestine.

As a result, sufferers of celiac disease (or other forms of gluten intolerance) should be spared the usual symptoms that occur when they consume gluten – these can include headaches, fatigue, bloating and anemia.

Before that can happen, however, the supplement will need to be put through an efficacy trial which is due to take place within a year. It is hoped that a consumer product could subsequently be available in Canada within three years, with a rollout in the US and Europe to follow.

The university has partnered with the UK-based Vetanda Group to commercialize the supplement.

Why Are Scientists Genetically-Modifying Human Embryos? - May 03 2015 08:00 AM - Breaking News - Labmate Online

Why Are Scientists Genetically-Modifying Human Embryos? - May 03 2015 08:00 AM - Breaking News - Labmate Online | Karmic Pantry | Scoop.it
GM and Humans

If manipulating plants generated controversy, you can bet that modifying human cells will do so tenfold. Back in 2013, approval was received for clinical trials using GM cells to combat cancer. However, it’s one thing to modify cells in order to attempt to battle one of the most deadly diseases known to man. It’s quite another to manipulate a human embryo before it is even properly fully developed.

Yet that’s exactly what Huang and his team did in Guangzhou. They used abnormal embryos from fertility clinics which were incapable of developing into healthy babies and were earmarked for destruction. As such, Huang argues that no moral boundaries were breached.

However, not everyone agrees. Many researchers have made their voices heard by calling for a worldwide moratorium on the practice, stating it is unsafe and unethical. Indeed, the fact that modification of embryos would affect not only the developing child, but also his or her offspring, and their offspring (ad infinitum) is certainly a cause for concern.

Furthermore, the possibility of “off-target” edits (unintended changes made to healthy genes) was proved to be significantly higher during Huang’s study than previously thought. Its unpredictability makes it a wildly dangerous practice, while the efficacy of it was not strengthened by the study. The successful manipulation of the gene to avoid beta-thalassaemia only occurred in a tiny fraction of embryos tested, which led to the abandonment of the study.

However, certain quarters of the scientific world remain convinced that such studies will be ongoing. Dusko Ilic, who researches stem cells at King’s College in London, claimed: “You cannot stop science. No matter what moratorium is proposed, you cannot stop this work continuing around the world.”

Scientists come up with a sixth taste - IOL Lifestyle

Scientists come up with a sixth taste - IOL Lifestyle | Karmic Pantry | Scoop.it
London - There have been many failed attempts to provide evidence of a sixth sense, but now scientists have at least, they claim, come up with a sixth taste - the taste of fat.

Fat, which now joins sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and umami (savoury) has a unique and unpleasant taste that researchers have called oleogustus. They suggest its identification could lead to new ways of fighting obesity and heart disease, and to the creation of improved fat replacements.

“Our experiments provide a missing element in the evidence that fat has a taste sensation, and that it is different from other tastes,” says Professor Richard Mattes, director of the Ingestive Behaviour Research Centre at Purdue University in Indiana, US.

“Identifying the taste of fat has a range of important health implications. At high concentrations, the signal it generates would dissuade the eating of rancid foods,” he adds.

“But at low levels, it may enhance the appeal of some foods by adding to the overall sensory profile, in the same way that bitterness alone is unpleasant but at appropriate levels adds to the appeal of wine and chocolate.”

Current fat replacements may have been less successful than was hoped because they mimic the texture of fat, but not the taste, says the professor. Our food choices are often based on memories of how we felt after eating an item, but the taste of fat may contribute to those associations, he adds.

There has been a consistent recognition over the centuries of four primary taste qualities - sweet, sour, bitter and salty. Umami, referring to a meaty or savoury taste and first reported in 1908, has increasingly been accepted as a fifth basic taste.
