California State Parks PORTS program provides teachers and students with complete units of study and live videoconferences. The units include lessons to prepare your students for the videoconference, supporting materials, and links to further resources. Once you have decided which program you would like to participate in contact a program coordinator to schedule your live videoconference. The Historical Scene Investigation Project (HSI) was designed for social studies teachers who need a strong pedagogical mechanism for bringing primary sources into their classroom.
