Very good points are made here about data mining, privacy, and Google's "terms of service" that are agreed upon when using these tools. Is it a marketing ploy to hook young people on to the brand of Google? What about when apps are no longer supported? What about students who have no home access? IMHO, we've heard all these arguments before - I'm not saying they should be dismissed but isn't it time we discussed solutions instead?
