I loved reading this article and I wish more educators shared this philosophy... I remember an author saying if we wanted kids to stop watching so much television we simply needed to tell them what to watch and then make them write reports on what they'd seen...

I have seen kids who couldn't be bothered to write a paper go all-in when given the opportunity to tell a story through comics. Check these out!
