Are you telling your business stories but forgetting they need to speak to your audience? Are you enthralled with the whiz-bangs of digital media instead of the story itself?
When are stories are not doing the work we need them to, then we need to go back and examine why they are not connecting with our audiences. Maybe it's because we love them, but our audience doesn't get them. Been there done that in the early days.
Here's a good reminder of how easy it is to get off track with our stories (and then say "Oh, storyelling doesn't work:), with suggestions for how to get back on so we get to say, "Wow, storytelling is awesome!"
