Laura M. Smith's curator insight, June 22, 2014 9:51 AM

Within the duality of this concept lives the gyroscopy of pride/shame, that we must somehow always be "good" and hide our "bad".  We cannot have integration as long as we believe that pathology is separate and must but be rooted out and eradicated. For, as teachers/healers, as soon as we define another's pathology, we have created a tool with which to control behavior through the gyroscopy of pride/shame and, our own complicity with this devil is sealed. The dreams will bring balance and the opportunity for integration through alchemy.
