Writing Tips: Carry a Notebook

Writing Tips: Carry a Notebook | Journaling Writing Revising Publishing | Scoop.it
One of the most widespread writing tips in the world: carry a notebook. But is a notebook really necessary in the digital age?
Sharilee Swaity's curator insight, March 18, 11:48 AM

Carrying a notebook ... is this advice still relevant today, with all of our technology. Yes, says this writer, even if the notebook is actually a smart phone application. The form of notebook may have changed, but the concept is still correct. Great reminder for writers. It is so good as a writer to capture those ideas as they come, whereever you happen to be!

Keran Barrett, www.MemoryLanePhotoCourses.com.au's curator insight, March 18, 5:57 PM

Like most things in life it's about balance - choose what suits you best at the time. At times a notebook is quicker to jot something down in and we often remember words better when we picture them in our minds on paper. Writing can also bring a different clarity - and ensures we don't forget the simple act of writing!
