What really sparked up my interest in reading this article was the fact that the title was so intriguing. I felt like I could totally relate to just the title of this article. When I was in high school I went through a really rough stage and actually started seeing a therapist for a while and she recommended that I started writing my feelings down in a journal everyday so I could release tension from within myself. For a long time I felt like I was holding a lot in and finally being able to write things down made me feel free in a way. Ever since high school I have been writing things down especially if I'm not feeling well emotionally. Also loved how they tied in how another form of speaking out other than friends and a therapist was to speak to God through prayer since I am a Christian I do that very often as well. The article was short, but to the point and really made you understand the way that journaling could help if you're emotionally hurting.
