Joseph's insight:

My thoughts:

According to this dentistry is the top job in American and I have looked into being a dentist but I don't think that I could spend my time in somebody elses mouth. But for an average salary of 140k it is something I would consider. I also think it is interesting that being a nurse is #2 even though the average salary is only 60k. So being a nurse must make people really happy and I'm sure that it does. Who wouldn't want to help people feel better and get them back into their normal lives. Although nurses in the ICU have to watch people die all the time which must be quite horrible.

This is a problem because once you get out of school you have to start paying on your loans but it is quite difficult to do that without a job. This is what made me realize that it is probably better to get a cheap two year degree and then transfer to a university later if I really feel like it. We need a way for teens to get jobs that their expensive educations deserve.

Joseph's insight:

My thoughts:

Something we as Americans need to work on is making our lives and each others lives much more enjoyable. Leaving your job because you have a bad boss should never be a reason but more often then not it is. We need to focus on helping people keep their jobs because more jobs equals more money equals your own business doing better. So if you want your business to thrive be happy and make your workers happy there is no point to being bitter.
