Howdy, After Austin is Katie Anne Clark and Alene Taylor. Katie's hometown is Austin, Texas and Alene hails from Simi Valley, California. Country music and great songs are in their blood. As little girls they both turned to music for strength and comfort growing up. After Austin's sound is heading towards a darker side of country, as Katie would say “swampy." The sound of their voices clicked from the beginning. On our channel we would like to represent our song writing and our own alt country spin on covers. We are focused on touring, even if it’s in the back of an old pickup truck. We would love to open for artists like Zac Brown Band or Alison Krause. And you should know, if us girls are late to rehearsal you can bet there is a stray dog in the back of the car. We hope you enjoy our music and videos and appreciate your support as we build our channel. Love, After Austin www.youtube.com/afteraustin
