October is shaping up to be one of the biggest months for K-Pop this year, as SECRET has confirmed that they will indeed be joining the girl group rush with a Korean comeback next month!
Other girl groups scheduled for October currently include SNSD, KARA, T-ara, the Wonder Girls, and the Brown Eyed Girls. SECRET will also be facing stiff competition from IU and G-Dragon.
On September 9th, TS Entertainment confirmed through OSEN, “SECRET will indeed be making their comeback in mid-October. There isn’t a set date in stone yet, but we are sure of October. The album will be a full official album and the girls will be skipping their Chuseok break to completely focus on finalizing last major details.

Mayu Shinjo's Ai ore! DFanshiko no hime to Joshiko no Oji or better known as Ai Ore! Love me has been made into a live action starring Ohno Ito ( Haruna in Kokou Debut ) as Mizuki Sakurazaka and Karam ( member of korean boyband DGNA / Daikoku Danji ) as Akira Shiraishi. 
Last year, we reported that Lee Seung Gi would become an MC for a new variety program titled ‘Table for 100‘. It has now been confirmed that this new show will begin production in August. According to an SBS variety show representative, “Lee Seung Gi will be returning as an MC through SBS’ ‘Table for 100′. We will begin filming in August or September. [Lee Seung Gi] will be heading into meetings as soon as he wraps up his Budokan concert in Japan .” Ahead of this, a different representative revealed this past February, “Lee Seung Gi will be busy due to his drama shoots and Japanese activities. It will be difficult for ‘Table for 100′ to launch immediately, and we will most likely go into production around July or August.” 
Choreographer Jonte Moaning, best known for his work with Beyonce‘s “Single Ladies“, has been revealed to be working with T-ara for their comeback album! Moaning worked with miss A for their “Touch” choreography, and this time he’s teamed up with T-ara for their “Day by Day” comeback next month.

7-member girl group Rainbow will join the onslaught of girl group comebacks this summer. Rainbow who rose to fame with songs such as “A“, “Mach“, “To Me“, and more will be making a comeback this summer, a year after releasing ‘Sweet Dream‘ last June. A representative from the girls’ agency DSP Media informed StarN on May 25th, “Rainbow will be making a Korean comeback as early as July or August.” 
On the 24th, it was announced Kuroki Meisa would star in next year’s NHK Taiga drama “ Yae no Sakura ” . Although the popular actress Kuroki has played the heroine in many dramas before, this is her first time acting in a Taiga drama.
