The thesis is focused on two chosen standards of project management such as IPMA and PMI. The document covers fundamental terms of connected with the topic of project management. There is also a description of both institutions including their history and structure. The comparison of both standards and their certifications according to chosen indicators is based on the analysis of above-mentioned theoretical background. The thesis is based on information contained in official IPMA and PMI materials.

International Meeting of VIDEOforALL Project

VIDEOforALL is an EU project providing innovative practices to teach/learn languages by integrating digital video as a basic tool for a more multidisciplinary and multiple literacy understanding of language teaching and learning. Its mission is to build a comprehensive repository of ways video can be used as a tool for language learning, for every level and every age.

Jan Spatenka's insight:

An example of meeting organized by our project team. My expertise and resposibility in such events lie in arrangements of the meeting venue, accomondation and board, meeting agenda and smooth run of the whole session.

Rebrand of the Company - Advertising Campaign

The event at one of the most known clubs in Brno was  the start point of the whole campaign focused on promotion of a new company logo.

It was a one-night concert attended by more than 400 people. The event was followed by extensive online and offline campaign supporting the company in new cover (logo, colours, company culture, etc).

I bear full responsibility for the social event as a constituent part as well as for the result of the campaign as a whole.

The “Multilingual Families” project is an important project that is targeted at preserving the languages and culture of the 47.3 million immigrants living in the European Union and the many families with parents with more than one language. These people represent a linguistic treasure house for Europe and one that must be preserved to enhance the linguistic and multi-cultural diversity of Europe.
To preserve this treasure in to the second generation, the children of immigrants and linguistically diverse parents, is vital as a continuing linguistic resource.

PopuLLar is a European Union, funded, innovative, education project designed to harness music, the primary social interest of secondary school students, in to their language learning. 
There is a huge need to motivate secondary school students, in particular, to learn languages, focus digital competencies and be creative; and music is the key.

Web2Learn - European Education Project

The project aims to collect existing good practices on learning methods and web 2.0 tools in general but also on parents' education for supporting their children in the participating countries and in Europe, to familiarize parents in the participating countries and especially unemployed ones on web 2.0 jargon and words/phrases used in web 2.0 children community in the participating countries as well as to establish stronger links/connections between parents (especially unemployed ones) and their children.

The conference contained exciting plenary presentations by some of the leading figures in European language learning, stimulating concurrent keynotes by European projects, academic papers and a wide-variety of interesting and stimulating workshops on the use of social networks and Web2.0 tools as tools of teacher professional development.
