Gambian President Yahya Jammeh has once again made outspoken remarks about HIV and is repeating claims that he can treat the virus with herbs.
People like this are dangerous. Their false claims kill, their hate kills; their mismanagement of the country (in this case) destroys, impoverishes and - indirectly - kills. Povery, exclusion, violence - all flow from rabid, pathological intolerance and lying.
