Tony Blair's Muslim convert sister-in-law Lauren Booth said today she is scared of being attacked by men on public transport following the murder of Drummer Lee Rigby.

Miss Booth said that after the soldier was brutally hacked to death in Woolwich she has seen 'grown men looking like they want to hit Muslim women' when she is travelling in London.

The 45-year-old half-sister of Cherie Blair ventures out in traditional Islamic dress and wears a hijab head-covering.

She converted to Islam two years ago and married Sohale Ahmed, 49, in a Muslim ceremony earlier this year.

Miss Booth, wearing a patterned hijab, said on ITV's Daybreak this morning that when she converted two years ago she was not treated any differently.

But in the aftermath of the murder of Lee Rigby close to Woolwich Barracks in south-east London last month she said that has changed -- Well I'm sorry but what did the silly mare expect ffs???

The G8 'accountability' review showed that between 2011 and 2012 several countries decided to rein in their foreign aid budgets. Japan, Italy and the US chose to focus on helping their own citizens, handing out a smaller percentage of their national income than the year before.

Italy was even given a 'red light' warning for failing to meet 'internationally agreed targets'. But cash-strapped Britain spent 0.56 per cent of national income on aid against 0.19 per cent in the US and just 0.03 per cent in Russia.

And we are now on course to spend 0.7 per cent of our national income on overseas aid by the end of this financial year, despite dropping a plan to enshrine that commitment in law.

The report, published as David Cameron hosted the G8 summit in Lough Erne, Northern Ireland, will renew complaints that Britain's aid commitments make us the 'soft touch' of the international community.

Nigel Farage, leader of the UK Independence Party, said: 'These figures prove that the Government wishes to burnish its moral credentials at the expense of ordinary taxpayers -- It just beggers belief that the government see fit to implement life changing austerity cutbacks that so badly affect Britain and the British people and yet are more than happy to sanction giving away billions of pounds of Britain's money to foreign countries in the 'guise' of 'foreign aid' - It just doesn't make sense and is sheer madness!!

The company - which failed to recruit enough guards for the London Olympics - earned £394million from the taxpayer in 2012-13, up from £328.5million a year earlier.

The revelation sparked claims it was becoming the 'private army' of the state.

With just weeks before the London Olympics opened in July last year, G4S admitted it would not be able to provide the thousands of guards it had promised.

Its reputation was severely damaged when 3,500 troops were called in to provide security at the biggest events.

In the wake of the debacle MPs called on the government to think again before awarding more lucrative contracts to the firm.

But it seems to have done little to dent its reputation in Whitehall, and next week it will provide security guarding the world’s most powerful men and women at the G8 summit at Lough Erne.

Labour MP Barry Sheerman, who obtained the figures on government spending with G4S, said he was worried about an increasing over-reliance on a small number of companies.

He warned: ‘The trouble is a lot of contractors are in a monopoly. They do seem to be swelling up and getting bigger and bigger and we are getting to the stage where the over-reliance on one company troubles you.

‘I am becoming increasingly worried about the monopoly position that G4S have in security services -- WHAT THE HELL IS THIS FCKING GOVERNMENT PLAYING AT???

A man has been arrested after a portrait of the Queen was defaced with paint at Westminster Abbey.

The picture, which has been removed from public view, had been on display in the Chapter House for a few weeks before it was vandalized

Scotland Yard said the man was detained on suspicion of criminal damage.

The oil on canvas piece, that was sprayed with paint in the attack, measures 9ft by 11ft and depicts the monarch in the Sacrarium of Westminster Abbey, also known as the Coronation Theatre.

The Australian-born artist Ralph Heimans had a sitting with the Queen at Buckingham Palace on March 21 last year, but the scene is an imagined one, set at night in the Abbey.

The work depicts Her Majesty in a moment of solitary reflection, standing at the centre circle of the Cosmati pavement, on the exact spot she was crowned.

An Abbey spokesman said: "In an incident at lunchtime today, a visitor to the Abbey sprayed paint on the Ralph Heimans portrait of the Queen presently on display in the Chapter House.

"Until work can be done to remedy the damage it will, very regrettably, not be possible to have the painting on public view" -- I'm 'saying nowt' - but I hope I'm wrong!

The hard-hitting Islamic message, called a Khutba, has already been sent to 50 local Imams to be delivered during Friday prayers on June 28.

It forcefully demands all men obey strict Koranic teaching on respectful behaviour to women and children and behave with the highest morality.

Muhammad Mustaqueem Shah, general secretary of Bradford Imams’ Forum, said the sermon was being sent to religious leaders across the country.

“The target is to have it read out in a minimum of 500 mosques,” said Mr Shah.

Drafted by Imam and Bradford council Respect councillor Alyas Karmani, the title of the sermon is Tackling Street Grooming in the UK and it begins with the following sacred verse from the Koran :

“Verily Allah enjoins justice and excellence, giving assistance and support to your family.

Male migrant workers have found it easier to find employment than 'native-born' men since the economic downturn, an international think-tank has found.

A higher percentage of foreign-born men have been in employment since 2007 despite a drop overall, according to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

While the employment rates of British-born men have fallen since 2001, the situation has improved for migrants, as foreign-born men have reversed a pre-crisis shortfall in employment and are now doing better than men who were born in the country.

The findings feature in the Paris-based think-tank’s 420-page International Migration Outlook report for 2013, which also reveals that in 2011, total permanent immigration rose in the 34 OECD countries from 2010.

Looking at whether the financial crisis reversed progress made by migrants over the past decade, the report said: 'Despite a decline in their employment rates during the crisis, male migrants in the United Kingdom had higher levels of employment than native-born men from 2007 onwards' -- What a disgraceful state of affairs - This is Britain and jobs should go to British people first and foremost, otherwise there is no hope for our and our children's future!!

Brian Kilmeade was interviewing Mr Robinson for his show on Fox radio and welcomed him with the words: ‘When I saw him interviewed and heard about his organisation I just had to talk to him.’

During the 15-minute discussion Robinson told him he formed the EDL because of the government and police’s inability to tackle radical Islam.

He claimed ‘there was a two-tier policing system’ and ‘two-tier funding system’ in which Islam is treated as ‘part of the race’.

Mr Robinson then spoke about the murder of Drummer Lee Rigby and the plot by Islamists to attack an EDL rally in Dewsbury.

He said: ‘I’m talking to listeners in America. What’s happening here is going to happen there. It’s the same Islam.’

It is a haunting image of destitution which should have no place in 21st century Britain - a homeless man sitting in a cave with his meagre belongings and rubbish strewn around him.

But the issue of men and women seeking refuge in cave systems such as this one in Stockport, Greater Manchester is worrying campaigners as figures show homelessness continues to surge in the economic downturn.

Across the country, homelessness has risen by six per cent over the course of the past year, soaring by 34 per cent compared to three years ago.

In some areas, cave formations provide the only location for a shelter which is dry and safe - leading the destitute to scratch out a squalid existence in the wilderness.

One of the hardest-hit areas has been Stockport - and a network of sandstone caves near the town centre has been playing host to a number of homeless people.

Up to four people at a time sleep rough in the secret warren, perched on a 20ft precipice overhanging the River Mersey -- Easy solution - Stop giving Britain's housing to immigrants Cameron, the people of Great Britain SHOULD NOT have to live like this!!

The fire in London's Muswell Hill last week came amid heightened tensions in the wake of the killing of Drummer Lee Rigby in Woolwich, with an increase in the number of attacks on mosques and Islamic centres.

Outraged women's groups are now calling on the Prime Minister to close a legal loophole that promotes sexual violence against women and girls. 

Depections of rape scenes are legal as long as the actors involved are over the age of 18, the groups warn in a letter.
Yet the same law makes possessing images of bestiality or necrophilia illegal – meaning animals and corpses have more rights than women and girls.
The letter, signed by Mumsnet, the National Federation of Women's Institutes, the Trades Union Congress, rape crisis centres and academics at Durham University, calls on the Government to "take urgent action against violent and misogynistic pornography online".
"We specifically want the Government to close a loophole in the pornography legislation that allows the lawful possession in England and Wales of pornographic images that depict rape, so long as the actors are over 18," the letter says.
"This means that images titled 'teen slut rape' and 'schoolgirl rape' are lawful to possess.

Polish people have been warned that if they move to Britain unprepared they risk being ripped off, made homeless and even set alight.

A dramatic new advice video funded by the UK government and supported by the Polish Embassy in London seeks to deter people from Poland moving to the UK without a job and somewhere to live.

Ministers say they want to make immigrants aware of the ‘risk’ of ending up on the streets.

The Polish-language video entitled Before You Go aims to reverse the growing trend of economic migrants ending up homeless on Britain’s streets.

It features acting telling the story of what can happen if people do not have a job or accommodation when they arrive from overseas.

Recent figures suggest one in three people sleeping rough in London are from eastern or central Europe, while one in 10 is from Poland.

The dramatic three-minute film tells the story of Jacek who moves to Britain for a ‘better life’.

He gets a job working on a building site, cash in hand.

But when he falls and hurts his back he cannot work and loses his job, and then his home.

He is beaten up by thugs and then, when sleeping on a pavement, two hooligans set fire to him and he is badly burnt -- Let's hope that they take heed and this puts the buggers off!!

The BBC treated the licence fee like money from a cash machine which they could spend ‘as we wanted’, the Corporation’s chairman admitted today.

Lord Patten said the public’s trust in the BBC had been rocked by revelations about financial largesse and was braced for more damaging headlines over vast severance pay deals to departing executives.

But the BBC Trust chairman defended the cost of moving staff to the a new £1billion headquarters in Salford, insisting the only mistake was not keeping checks on how money was spent furnishing the new homes of employees who made the move north.

The licence fee has been frozen at £145.50 until 2015, and Lord Patten warned that if it did not rise in future there would be a ‘storm’ of protest as services are switched off.

But he lifted the lid on the attitude of staff towards spending the public’s money.

Police were called on Tuesday night after one cadet was allegedly chased towards Preston north End’s stadium from Kimberley Barracks on Deepdale Road, following a training session.

On Tuesdays the barracks is used by the 341 Air Squadron, but it is also understood a group of army cadets may have been verbally abused on the same evening.

Today, Det Chf Insp Ian Dawson of Preston Police said there were no security concerns at the barracks and said it was a minor incident.

He said: “ we are aware of a minor incident at the barracks and believe it was isolated. We have close links with the barracks and are working,through our diversity team, to establish who the youths involved are.

“Preston has a diverse community and we are not aware of any problems.

“We are working closely with community leaders -- This must have slipped through the net of the 'PC press' - ["The youngsters were advised not to walk home alone"] - Disgusting!!, why the hell should they be made to feel afraid of walking their own streets ffs??

The Deputy Prime Minister ‘made mistakes’ over the allegations against Lord Rennard, according to a highly critical report into attitudes to women among senior Liberal Democrats.

Mr Clegg conceded that ‘women had been let down’ after the independent report said he should have ‘asked more questions’ when the claims – which Lord Rennard denies – arose five years ago.

There were several missed chances to hold an investigation, the report added.

The inquiry into the wider culture of the Liberal Democrats spanning two decades was launched after the Rennard claims surfaced earlier this year.

Aside from the complaints by four women against the peer, witnesses reported 32 other sexual harassment and discrimination incidents – including one where a male parliamentarian had made inappropiate advances to a very young male worker.

Officials at Antalya airport even stamped Emily Harris's travel documents before waving her through customs despite the official photograph showing the face of her favourite stuffed toy.

Her mother and father today admitted they were left stunned after they handed their daughter the wrong passport when they landed to start a week's holiday in the country.

The document young Emily handed over was a Bear Factory passport for a Unicorn toy called Lily Harris.

Her mother Nicky, 43, from Cwmbran, South Wales, said: 'I didn’t realise until I was putting the passports away. There was a moment of panic when I thought someone would come chasing after us, but nothing.

'The passport doesn’t even look real - it’s got gold teddy bears on the front and was a completely different size from mine and my husband, Allen’s.

'The man even asked Emily how old she was, and she told him nine, before he stamped it' -- It would seem that Turkey is the same as Great Britain - not fussy who they let in! - Fx

Basildon Council in Essex said it needs the nine-month exercise ahead of a re-tendering next year - with English Landscapes, which has cut the grass since 2010, coming to the end of its contract.

Land surveying firm Atlantic Geomatics, based in Penrith, Cumbria, has now been hired to measure the borough’s greenery so the council can specify the height at which it must be mowed.

Nigel Smith, leader of Basildon’s opposition Labour group, which opposed the council privatising the service in 2010, said the expenditure ‘does sound like a bit of a shambles’.

He added: ‘We opposed the privatisation of the contract in the first place, and I think we have been proved right. It would have been so much better if it was council staff carrying out these jobs. 

‘One hundred and fifty thousand pounds is a load of money to be paying out on top of a contract to another company afterwards and you need to wonder about the competency of the council’ -- If this wasn't so 'bizarre' it would be fcking laughable!!

The taxpayer-funded document – free on the internet – was published yesterday as the “first comprehensive guide” to border and immigration rules across the EU.

It details the rights of asylum seekers and other migrants to enter and settle in EU nations including Britain and how to go about launching legal action against removal attempts by national authorities.

In a list of examples of past cases, it even cites Islamist cleric Abu Qatada’s successful ­challenge under human rights laws against Home Office attempts to send him back to ­Jordan to face terror charges.

Tim Aker, of the anti-Brussels campaign group Get Britain Out, said: “This booklet is a disgrace. We are facing cuts and yet the EU gives EU migrants a handbook on how to settle in the UK and claim from the welfare state according to human rights and EU legislation. It’s not on.

“Obviously this will encourage more uncontrolled migration to the UK and inflate the numbers we can expect from Bulgaria and Romania next year. The only way to regain control of our national borders and control immigration is to leave the EU as soon as we can” -- Bloody hell, how much easier are they going to make it for immigrants to avail themselves of Britain's hospitality ffs? Mohammad Qataa was shot in the face and neck a day after being seized by members of an Al Qaeda-linked Islamist group in the northern Syrian city of Aleppo, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. 

A photo released by the Observatory showed Qataa's face with his mouth and jaw bloodied and destroyed as well as a bullet wound in his neck.

Today it emerged Qataa was working as a street vendor in the al-Shaa district of Aleppo when three members of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, a militant group that started off known as the Nusra Front, overheard him arguing with a friend over a bill.

It is thought the boy had given his friend a coffee which the friend wanted to pay for later.

'Mohammad Qataa was working at his street trolley and remarked to his friend that even if the Prophet Mohammad came down he would not give him credit,' said Rami Abdulrahman, who heads the UK-based human rights group, told reporters -- The 'religion of peace' at it's best - B..tards!! - Fx : Read more @ :
