Its good to see that lebron james is using his star power and fame to spread the news on this issue for the rest of the world to see.
Katherine Elsdon - Williams's comment, February 10, 1:01 AM
He has good influence and power to raise awareness and on issues occurring all around the world. He knows that police officers hold a lot of power and authority and with that comes responsibility. The cops involved should be held accountable for their actions taken.
Jacci Grace's comment, February 16, 12:47 AM
silent protesting; a subtle yet effective way to show his support to this situation. Upside to it is being a famous person, many people will actually take notice of this sad injustice situation.

Anton Smyth's comment, February 9, 3:05 PM
I agree with the article in the fact that it would be a big step in the right direction for gay equality but by an All Black coming out as gay it could also have a very similar affect on that player as what happened with Michael Sam, because rugby is seen by society as a big hard man's sport and a gay man may not be seen as fitting in
Asha Chandra's comment, February 9, 4:54 PM
It was very brave of him to come out because people are not accepted in society if they are gay or they don't fit in, he was willing to stand up for himself and other gay athletes. He wanted to prove a point that being gay doesn't effect your performance, its just who you are. When he came out he felt as though he had the responsibility to stand up for gay rights in sports. I fully agree with what he is doing, i believe that gay athletes should be treated the same as others. However, i dont think that society will agree with the massive stepping stone that he has made.
Kimi Manuel's comment, February 10, 4:47 PM
I think if someone in the All Blacks is gay and comes out as openly being gay the New Zealander perspective of sport would change. People in New zealand would accept gays more openly.

Gage Wesley's curator insight, December 16, 2013 1:32 PM

Ffrom this article, I've learned that in order to be a successful personal trainer, you need to know the history of your client. Whether it's a terminal illness, or physical problems they may have. This will be helpful so you can tell them what to avoid whilst exercising and to prevent further injury.

Olivia King's comment, February 17, 8:44 PM
Sportsmanship is a much more important quality than gamesmanship as everyone will play the game more fairly
Georgia Kemp's comment, February 17, 8:46 PM
Having sportsmanship in a game/sport to me shows that there is a roll of equality between the teams. Being competitive isn't all that's bad but at the extreme is not always right.
Jacci grace's comment, February 19, 1:26 AM
Sportsmanship is a key quality to sport as it is showing equality between the teams. Gamesmanship however, seems to be more like a one sided match; no consideration at all to the other team, whether or not they are the opponents. It kills the spirit of the game which isn't a good environemnt to play in.
