This volume by Eilean Ni Chuilleanain looks great if the poem Galley Press have given as taster.  The poem ''Direction'' is a elegy to her father whom she remembers with these powerful and moving images:

 

he is a mountain becoming a mountain range,

a sliding dance of peaks, their names picked from his list:

the words remembered from the internment camp

that gave him his phobia of candles -
