Inis Reading Guide/ Rogha Leabhar Inis - Childrens Books Ireland

Inis Reading Guide/ Rogha Leabhar Inis - Childrens Books Ireland | The Irish Literary Times | Scoop.it
The Inis Reading Guide is our LARGEST ever, containing 286 book reviews over 88 pages. The reviews are organised by age section from 0-2 up to Young Adult, alongside specialist poetry and non-fiction sections. Each section is edited by either a CBI Book Doctor or another specialist in their field. This year we have included a special section titled Citizens of the World, highlighting recommended titles that teach young people how to respond to the changing world around them; both environmentally, socially and culturally. This is a hugely important area of focus in light of Ireland’s rapidly changing population. As always titles by an Irish author, illustrator or publisher are marked with a shamrock and a full listing of all Irish-published books for 2016 can be found at the back of the guide.
