Kolkata T20 won by 3 wickets
Gambhir: "A lot of credit goes to the entire team. After the first few games, a lot of people wrote us off and that's why a lot of credit goes to the team. This is a ground very difficult to defend and that's why we believed that we can chase down 200. Manish played very well and he was well supported by Yusuf. Saha played a great innings but Manish was exceptional tonight."
Bailey: "That was certainly a game worth the final. We just talked about the same stuff that we talked earlier. Hats off to Manish, to hit a six the next ball after a wicket takes some courage. We've got a very, very special bunch of guys and our guys can hold their heads high. We've seen some absolutely fantastic cricket in both countries (UAE, India) and I can proudly say that I was part of such a great final."
Mohit Sharma (Purple Cap, leading wicket-taker): "This is a really big thing for me. I am really happy. This time I bowled at the death as compared to last year where I used to bowl mainly with the new ball. I have learned a lot this year."
Robin Uthappa (Orange Cap, leading run-scorer): "It's quite surreal. I am lost for words but I am happy to contribute to the team in a meaningful manner. When I played with a broken toe the other day against Mumbai, that kind of broke the physical barrier for me."
Akshar Patel: "I feel really proud to get this award as there are so many other domestic and international bowlers and for me to get it is an incredible feeling. I try to stick to the basics and if someone plays well then it is my bad luck. I consider myself as a batting all-rounder but in this tournament I bowled more than I batted."
Akshar Patel wins the Emerging Player Award.
Pandey: "Obviously I've got four achievements this year, Ranji, Irani, Vijay Hazare and the cherry on the cake is today's win. This tournament is real fun and I have always done well, I am happy with my effort. I thought if we play aggressively, we will easily get 200 in 20 overs."
Manish Pandey is the Man of the Match for his 50-ball 94.
Yusuf Pathan: "It is a very happy moment and I am proud of winning 3 IPL titles. The tension was because of me, I got out at the wrong time, if I had stayed we would have won it before."
WV Raman: "It is very exciting. It is not everyday you chase a big total in a final."
Pat Cummins: "It was my first Indian T20 League, it is good to get a win. The bowlers performed well."
Andre Russell: "Credit goes to the bowlers. They have been doing well as a group."
Umesh Yadav: "Not really, I got it from there (when asked about where he got the champions t-shirt). I am very happy, but it is a team effort and all the boys played really well. Manish batted beautifully."
Manish Pandey: "It was an opportunity to get runs today. It was great scoring in the final game. I have been playing here (Chinnaswamy) for a long time."
Trevor Bayliss: "The boys had belief in themselves. They performed well in the last 9 games and played good cricket after the disappointing UAE leg. We had some new players, some good players like Manish, Surya - a fantastic young player. I have no words. I am lost."
Bisla: "Pandey played really well, match winning innings and we are really proud of him."
Vinay Kumar: "I enjoyed a lot. Overall it was a good team effort and we are really happy."
ten Doeschate: "Fantastic! Young Saha played out of the skins as well. It's just been a great final and a fitting final for a great tournament."
Wasim Akram: "I am shattered (laughs). It's tough sitting out there but credit to the boys, not just today but throughout the tournament and deservingly the champions. Best thing about this team is that they enjoy each others' company. Thanks for all the support."
Suryakumar Yadav: "It was frustrating for us. We knew if we bat 20 overs it will be a cracker. It is an unbelievable feeling."
Morne Morkel: "I was nervous but all credit to PC for the way he batted at the last."
