This iPad resource is a 'solid' useful one. We sometimes forget that adding to the 'foundation skills' is such a vital step, especially in Junior classrooms. The creative and WOW 'stuff' is powerful but if those building blocks aren't in place what do they have to build with?
This page has an extensive list of what they consider "All the best iPad Apps teachers need". Pages such as 'Digital Storytelling Apps" "Science iPad Apps" etc etc. A worthy place to troll for what you are looking for.
And now we have the tablet. The iPad has begun a new “education revolution” and now the obligatory opposition tech companies have joined the battle. The question has to be asked – are we again starting from the wrong end of the battle lines? Is the iPad (inserted alternative tablet if so desired) the real catalyst or is there so much more to this than money spending school systems can see beyond the new and shiny?
It’s why I ask the question: Is it the iPad, the App or the User?
Challenge your teaching practice.......who or what is really making the difference? Does the tool support the learning? Any device without quality teaching is just that 'a device' - not a tool to enhance and support the learning.

Nice clear step by steep instructions of the purpose and use of 'Airplay'. I personally also have the Reflection App installed and have used it extensively. I love the fact you can view multiple iPads, collaborate and discuss. This is a cheaper alternative to Apple TV's for those without higher numbers of devices to warrant the extra outlay.
