"I recently saw a picture that was posted on twitter by George Couros. I sent it to my principal because it sums up what we have been talking about for weeks about Apps that we are using with the iPads. "

Yes. Technology in teaching serves the teacher and the learners. I'm not sure that that makes the teacher a 'facilitator' any more than s/he is already that! But it is a great resource and we are all enriched by it!

We are all enriched by technology so long as we use and do not abuse it!

Delete the scoop?

BYOT is a bit of a sticky wicket, but with proper planning, and an awareness of the differences of devices, it can be a reasonable and cost-effective alternative to a 1:1. Delete the scoop?

It is interesting and pleasing to note that more people are looking to use digital technologies to address appropriate predefined learning goals that may differ from those that best suit traditional learning goals and pen and paper technologies.

A good move. Not using iPads or rather some brand of tablet in the 21st century is like not using biros in the 20th.

I have used a number of these iPad apps in my Flipped Classroom this year. This is a great list that opens lots of possibilities for integrating 21st century skills and upper level Bloom's skills into curriculum. Delete the scoop?
