Typing Subscripts on an iPad - Douchy's Blog | Ipads in education | Scoop.it

"Today I am bringing you a great find I learned through TechChef4U. This is a list of useful iPad apps to transform your teaching. The list is created by Rachel Jones ( from Create Innovate Explore ) and features some really great titles that every teacher should know about. And though most of these apps have already been featured here in this blog in several past instances, the list also contains some new apps I never had the chance to share here ( e.g., Moldiv, Memrise, and Green Screen Movie FX).'

Five-Minute Film Festival: 8 Interactive Video Tools for Engaging Learners

Five-Minute Film Festival: 8 Interactive Video Tools for Engaging Learners | Ipads in education | Scoop.it
"It's no secret that I am a passionate advocate for using video in the classroom. When used well, videos can help students make connections to people and ideas beyond their usual frame of reference. That's why I've been really excited to see a wave of new (and mostly free or low-cost!) tech tools recently that enable teachers to take favorite clips and make them more valuable for educational use. Whether you use videos to flip your classroom or you just appreciate the power of video to engage kids, maybe one of the tools in my playlist below will help you go deeper in 2014."

How to Enable AirPlay Mirroring in iOS 7 to Stream an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch Display Wirelessly | Ipads in education | Scoop.it
"AirPlay Mirroring sends exactly what is on the iPhone or iPad screen wirelessly over to an Apple TV or a compatible AirPlay receiver app on a Mac or PC like Reflector or XBMC, including the audio stream if one is available. This mirroring feature is great for demonstrations, presentations, picture slideshows, watching video on a larger screen, gaming on a bigger display, recording an iOS device screen, and so much more."
