This is a great simple Apple device app to please you reach an appropriate level of volume in your classroom. Watch the gauge rise and the background change as the volume increases. You can adjust the sensitivity for the situation/activity. "For a short time, I considered that it was highly possible I had lost my mind. I was going to teach my kids how to use Book Creator on a Friday. Not only that, they were going to teach another kindergarten class how to use it later in the day. Simmer down…my sanity is still intact. I worried needlessly. My iPad proficient five year olds created a 4 page book on Penguins in less than an hour. They illustrated their pictures in Doodle Buddy, saved them to the camera roll, imported them into Book Creator, typed their text and exported the book to their iBooks app in the morning. The Kinkaid school introduced iPads in its Pre-K and Kindergarten classrooms. Students use the tablets for group work and to play educational games.

"When I first began this process of introducing apps I used an HDMI cable to connect the iPad to my projector. The reason I moved to the less “techy” document camera is because it allows my class to actually see what their friends are touching on the iPad. This really helps them learn how to play them.
