Use show me to create explanations of math or science concepts. They are also great for metacognition actitivites or for groups to create success criteria. Students can travel around to the different groups to view their show me's and leave feedback on stickies for the group. You can find the show me app in the explaining folder on the ipad. We also have a connector so you can connect an ipad to a projector.
Last year I tried my hand at having my class make book trailers. They did a decent job given that I wasn't quite sure how to jump into this new medium. Well, this year we've learned from the past and I'm proud to say that the fifth graders are creating book trailers that are better than ever!

This week we have been learning about Insects. Students have been reading books about insects, writing interesting facts about insects and going outside to hunt for insects! Students have been going outside with our volunteer Mr. Froze and the iPads to take pictures of insects.
