Very good news for Skitch users out there. Evernote has released Skitch 2.0 (free), a very welcome update to the Skitch app (first reviewed here). Skitch is a screenshot and photo annotating app that is very easy to use.

Dropbox and Notability are two powerhouses of iPad education. Notability is arguably the best notetaking app for students and Dropbox, second only to Google Drive, is the best place to store students work. At the Berlage Lyceum we’ve started syncing the two tools which enables teachers to always have insight into the students’ notes and assignments.
Many of the schools that have introduced iPads in the classroom also use the Google Apps for Education suite. Unfortunately these two do not always mix well together. Using Google Apps on the iPads has always been quite tedious, but today Google updated its Google Drive app that solves many of the problems.
