The biggest and most oft-heard criticism of the iPad usually revolves around it not behaving like a desktop PC or laptop. The people making this complaint are simply missing the point. Apple aren’t trying to make a laptop replacement, why would they? They make a couple of extremely good ones! The iPad is a new kind of device that asks you to think and work differently.

For a long time now I have been looking for a tool that enables instant polling in the classroom or in the lecture room. I specifically wanted something that; doesn't require registration (especially from the people I'm polling), updates very quickly, works on any platform from computers to mobile devices It looks like I have finally found what I've been looking for and best of all it's free. This is an interesting realtime classroom feedback tool which allows students to respond to classroom input on a range of devices using a range of different formats, from simple true false responses to summaries, image response etc. All responses are then pushed back to the teacher's interface. Interesting tool if you are working with a classroom full of students with mixed mobile devices.
