6-Second Science Fair

6-Second Science Fair | iPad | Scoop.it
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Vine is this month's "Draw Something." But I think this is a really good use of it. The limitation of a 6-second GIF forces entrants to be more focused and creative than an unlimited YouTube video. And the results are a lot more fun for others to watch. Click the image to see the tumblr. #6secondsciencefair is the hashtag. Here's the story from Ad Age: http://adage.com/article/creativity-pick-of-the-day/general-electric-hosts-a-6secondscience-fair-vine/243552/?utm_source=daily_email&utm_medium=newsletter&utm_campaign=adage&ttl=1376516073

Ioanna Pastarmatzi's comment, August 23, 2013 3:43 AM
The Netherlands and Los Angeles next. Nevertheless, I believe that a certain balance between technology and actually book using can be beneficial too (depending also on school circumstances).
Ioanna Pastarmatzi's curator insight, August 23, 2013 3:44 AM

What is needed, in my opinion, is a valuable balance between technology and actual book using.

Jacqui Sharp's curator insight, August 23, 2013 6:06 AM

interesting insights, but I still believe that iPads are not the whole answer, there still needs to be the balance of choice of the right tool for the job
