Paul Kongshaug had panic attacks. Or so he thought. Starting while he was a student at Central College, and increasing in frequency over time, he would have episodes where he could not speak.
One of our favorite startup stories of all time (partly because we're a part of it). Paul shared his idea with us four months ago. "Oh, another one of these," we could have thought. Loyalty's a crowded market. Cards are dated technology. Iowa City is filled with competitors. It was crazy.
The Creative Corridor’s inaugural Creative Week will be held October 19-26, 2013, with events taking place throughout the seven counties of the region (Benton, Cedar, Linn, Johnson, Jones, Iowa and Washington).
"Creative Week" just might be the best thing to happen to the region since ... well, ever. Organizations looking to host their own event should contact Seed Here in the next week.

A Kalona native, entrepreneur Roby Miller is going into the family business---and reinventing rural pharmacies in the process.
Roby Miller is a straight hustler. Period. The story of his telepharmacy startup (ask him about the time he talked his way into a software giant's office last year) is a testament to his unstoppable desire to build a game-changing enterprise. Needless to say, we're proud to call him a close friend.
Brian Kaldenberg started his first business, GameRosters.com, in 2004 as a junior at Iowa State University. Kaldenberg, who has continued to operate GameRosters.com, was looking for new business ideas when he found one close to home in 2008.
Way to go, neighbor! Awesome story about a long-time friend (and client) of ours. Wicked cool company (with a wicked fun ping pong table).
