The Tourism Minister Mounir Fakhri Abdel-Nour stated recently that the Egyptian government is determined to upgrade the tourism industry by implementing numerous projects that will concentrate on developing tourist facilities across the country.
The Tourism Ministry has revealed it aims to attract 30 million tourists by 2017, adding that global promotion campaigns will be doubled to achieve the target
According to the World Bank Organization ( WBO) with improvement in 5 of the 10 topics studied by the Doing Business Group, Egypt became in 2006/2007 the top reformer overall all the 183 countries under study. More specifically , Egypt was the 10th top reformers in relation with the process of registering property.
Following the enforcement of a new regulation which came into effect in august 2006, the overall registrations costs drop from 5,9 % to a maximum of 1 % of the property price.
