Thankfully we are making progress in bridging the digital divide, but it is definitely disheartening to see the large size of the gap. Nowadays, a smartphone is not just a means to communicate with the people we love, but it is a tool that connects us to our outside world. A digital gender gap is another barrier to women's education, health, and well-being, and in a sense contributes to isolation. Support organizations that aim to provide women with mobile capabilities.
