Short videos from YouTube and other sources can be quite helpful in introducing topics to students and or reinforcing concepts that you have taught. Dr. Theresa Kauffman's curator insight, August 28, 2015 2:11 PM

I am an advocate for listening to students. We cannot give them everything they want, but we can listen and provide the tools they need to learn.

Shelly Reckow VanVoorst's curator insight, October 24, 2015 10:50 PM

I scooped this article because it supports the idea of having technology in the classroom for useful reasons rather than just to have it in the rooms.  Empowering students and helping them gather self-confidence are two aspects that can be energized while utilizing technology within the classrooms.  I hope that teachers read this article and realize that while we all say "just Google it" that students hear that too, and want to just Google things as well.
