Marketers need to interact with their customers via the multiple social platforms available. Yes this does take time and money to do it correctly. Having the right person to interact with your customers via social is very important. Would you put a rude staff member at your front door?

Great book by a couple of Harvard profs The Attention Economy supports points made here nicely.
Andrea Norwood's comment, June 24, 2013 11:20 AM
I agree that you have to have the right person(s) to interact with your customers, because if you as the first paragraph states above when it asks the question, would you put a rude staff member or as I put it an unattentive staff member at your front door? Well, I won't anymore, because if you do, this could mean your story going nowhere and eventually you lose your audience and so on, and so, yes, I agree that you need a powerful and great marketing team, one who is willing at all costs to help you promote your fiction book, biography, poem or whatever you are marketing in order to have a great product that sells beyond!

Altavista, Yahoo, Second Life, Orkut, My Space,  la lista potrebbe andare avanti all'infinito, chi…

Want to stand out from the crowd? Then tell really great client stories! | Internet PR Student | Scoop.it

Karen Dietz's curator insight, November 30, 2013 2:22 PM

Business marketer Ryan Caliguiri writes this terrific piece reminding us that really -- if we want to stand out from competitors, it's less about sharing OUR stories and more about sharing great client stories.

As Caliguiri says, "Let me give you a real-life example: A client of mine became famous for giving away extravagant gifts such as trips, televisions, computers and more on his employee’s birthdays. The company was able to do this because its accounting firm saved him a great deal of taxes year after year and with this extra money, my client had enough to give his employees gifts."

He then goes on to tell how they crafted the client story to share and generate more business. And it really works. To top it off he gives 3 tips for constructing client stories that will help you stand out and build your business. Good job!
