Interesting article that presents the state of IoT today, as well the challenges ahead of us in making IoT a reality.

 

In my opinion, there are two main challenges pointed out by this article. First, IoT services on top of the connected sensors and actuators are crucial. It is necessary to provide useful and usable services to users so that IoT is adopted. Without convincing services, IoT will not spread in our everyday life. The second main challenge is the security. Connected sensors that sense our everyday life obviously need to be secure ! This article describes nicely some of the security challenges that need to be solved.
