In their own way these are brilliant adverts - but will they have any real effect?

Update: I printed these out (A4 size, in colour) and put them on a board in the corridor outside my classroom. It has been interesting just how many comments there have been from students who have been caught by them as they passed.

It''s equally interesting how many have immediately rushed to a computer to type one of the starter phrase; and been suuitably appalled.

What is depressing, and rather distrubing , is that these students are almost inevitably female.

Which is rather missing the point.

Morgan Molosso's curator insight, May 6, 2014 8:36 PM

I chose this article because it dealt with the gender inequality on the internet.  This article was a slap in the face for women showing that it is true that they are discriminated socially compared to men.   This relates to half the sky by talking about gender inequality globally with many different cultures.
