La Coopération technique belge (CTB) a apprêté 10 millions d’euros (10 844 000 dollars américains) pour la redynamisation de l’enseignement technique et la formation professionnelle dans le district de la Tshopo (Province Orientale). En prévision du lancement prochain des activités du projet Edut, un programme d’appui à ces filières, la CTB a organisé du 4 au 6 mars, un atelier de réflexion sur la qualité de l’enseignement professionnel dans les écoles de la Tshopo. Selon les organisateurs, ce projet est le fruit de l’accord de partenariat entre la RDC et le royaume de Belgique. Il est question notamment d’étudier des voies et moyens d’intéresser les jeunes à embrasser les filières techniques et la formation professionnelle porteuse d’emploi. Ce projet va s’étaler sur quatre ans. Il vise la création des cadres moyens préparés pour participer à l’émergence du pays.
