Jasmeeta Patel's insight:

You are so right that product placement in movies and TV programs is important! As marketers, we'd have to choose the right movies/tv programs to advertise our products in so we'd approach the right target market etc.

This is such a brilliant way to get the whole point of 'Integrated Marketing' across to advertisers and consumers. It shows the 'new' approach to advertising which is so affective because the consumer and the product is the main thought in the whole advertising goal. You guys are right too! As advertisers, it is important for us to know exactly how to effect the consumer with our product which means knowing where to place our product to most effectively reach out consumers.

The 'big idea' is also a great way to sum up the goal of advertising companies these days. Showing us what used to be just and idea is now a BIG IDEA because the consumers needs are very much taking into consideration in today's advertising.
