To be good at work you need knowledge and skills, but without the right attitude you can never be competent. Can we consider intercultural skills a question of attitude?
Heather Nixon McLaughlin's comment, June 12, 2013 6:10 AM
Intercultural competence is having the knowledge of your own cultural identity as well as other cultural behaviours and the skill to be able and willing to adapt between cultures. It's like everything, no matter how skilled and knowledgeable you are if you don't have the right attitude then you will never be competent.
