I agree with the author that Billboards are not the only way to gain attention and attract business, though there is no doubt that they are one of the most effective ways of mass communication. Any business which uses a good location (busy areas) is promised to create interest among the audience and awareness about the company's products, driving purchase behaviour. The latest being movie billboards are the most effective, they are highly promising and excellent marketing. Mostly undertaken by big brands, these billboards demand attention among consumers. Although I think other communication techniques like commercials on television, radios, magazines and internet (social networking sites, mobile internet, commercial sites, news channels etc) are also very crucial for businesses.

Ita absolutely true that great advertising is d key to consumer acknowledgement towards the company and its product. Though it is also true that advertisements when focus on creating needs in consumers meet much higher success compared to the ones focused on full filling the needs of consumers. This is partly so because, creation of needs hits the consumers emotional parts or makes the consumer aware of his psychological unconscious desire that was never surfaced. Research has already proven that advertisers should focus more on the emotional points of consumers trying to attach them to the product through creating self actualisation needs, whether a company be selling products or advertisements, it is highly important that consumers not only recognise the product they also accept what is marketed.
