According to this infographic from SaveIGo, 74 percent of people rely on social networks to guide purchase decisions. By 2014, it says, 53 percent of total retail sales both online and offline will be affected by the web. This is because the Internet is being more relied upon by people for research before spending money to buy products or services.
You may say that the infographic is saying that the Internet will be influencing commerce, but what does social media have to do with this?
