Two major universities are set to allow students to earn course credits which will go towards their final degree through massive open online courses (Moocs) for the very first time in the UK. The move, announced by online learning platform FutureLearn, will see the Open University (OU) and the University of Leeds allow students the opportunity to study for part of a degree or MBA course before progressing further.

This new theory called connectivism allow us to know technologie is contributing and modifying some aspects of our learning process. We are all born with a special way to learn and the environment modifies, expands or influences the way we learn. Learning theories allows us to closely observe these different ways of learning, and how we fit into some of them or we are a little bit of each. Connectivism could be more related to the new generation that is born in the era of technology, but in fact its influence is also evident in the learning of all who have access to technology for whatever reason.
