We believe that there is nobody on Earth who would dare to assert that colors are inessential in web design. Both professional and amateur web designers study color theory in order to choose only the most efficient hues and their combinations for the projects they accomplish.
This theme is too vast, so it's impossible to cover it completely in one single blog post. However, we can enumerate the basic principles of color theory, list the top tools for choosing the right color scheme as well as name some of the trendiest tints of the year. And of course, we are going to finish our entry with a compilation of websites where the authors managed to match the colors that seem absolutely incompatible at first sight. This is our plan. If you are all eyes, we’ll start with the first point.

What if you could use human hair as an alternative to diminishing natural materials? Studio Swine travel along the Hair Highway to explore the hair trade and its potential as a future resource.
Hair Highway is a China-based project from nomadic design duo Studio Swine exploring the potential of human hair beyond its wildly expanding role in the beauty industry. As the world’s population increases, human hair is re-imagined as an abundant and renewable alternative to diminishing resources such as horn, tortoise shell or tropical wood. By investigating the trade and craft around the hair industry in Shangdong province, Studio Swine explore the potential of human hair by creating new materials and a collection of exquisite objects.
China is the world's largest importer of old growth tropical hardwoods and exotic animal horn. Studio Swine suggest a sustainable alternative by utilising the amazing qualities of human hair. Asian hair in particular grows incredibly quickly - growing up to 16 times faster than hardwood mahogany. It's also very strong - a full head of hair can take the weight of two African elephants. By combining hair with a natural bio resin Studio Swine invent a new composite material with an exotic aesthetic that evokes horn or tropical hardwood.
The Hair Highway collection is based around a central concept of the ancient Silk Road. The project explores China's relationship with the rest of the world by creating a collection of exquisite objects inspired by Qing dynasty era pieces and 1920’s Shanghai-deco style. The much fabled Silk Road once transported not only silk but also technologies, aesthetics and ideas between East and West. Hair Highway returns to the idea that trade has the ability to transport new materials, values and perceptions.
Nature photography is the type of photography where beautiful objects and moments of nature are captured within a photograph. Ranging from beautiful natural landscapes to residue of natural disaster and from hills and mountains to rivers and lakes, everything can be included within a natural photograph. Similarly, wild life photography is the type of photography that captures wild life such as animals, birds and reptiles and more.
