In the life of most businesses, the business itself will hit the proverbial wall, and the business owner will need to refocus their business to regain momentum and become more productive.

 

The major factor that creates the need to refocus any business, is simply the reality that over time the original vision for the business becomes somewhat cloudy, and the complexity that arises as a business grows often means that the business is forced to move away somewhat from its original path.

 

This excellent article, suggests that business owners need to define a renewed clear vision for their business to be able to move forward in a productive way, and it offers eight questions that a business owner needs to ask themselves in order to create a new future.

  • 85% on day-to-day operations
  • 5% on incremental improvements that produced faster, cheaper, better sameness
  • 5% on small sustaining innovations
  • 5% on big, disruptive innovations


Perspective matters, and is the key to leadership effectiveness. To make sense of what’s happening in the world and anticipate what the future has in store, an intelligent, informed perspective is now more important than ever.

I do have a separate section here in Educational Technology and Mobile Learning where I have been featuring a plethora of video tools . But today's collection is somehow different not only because it contains the cream of the crop but also because these tools are all web based.

All of the web tools below do not require any software installation and you can work on them right from your browser. Students could create use one of these to make their own "character" commercial or the teacher could use it to introduce the "monthly" character trait.
