Click on the citation! It's hilarious. It's a press release, from which they just lift the "internationally known scholar." Here's the relevant quote:
"This meta-analysis based research, conducted by Dr. Mickey Shachar and Dr. Yoram Neumann, an internationally known scholar and leader in higher education who is the President and CEO of United States University, analyzed and compared the differences between the academic performances of students enrolled in distance education courses relative to those enrolled in traditional settings, as demonstrated by their final course scores."
Got that? The "CEO" of United States University found that students got HIGHER GRADES in online courses.
These are the kinds of people who are deciding the future of the great American University System. People who are unashamed to claim that higher grades in online courses mean online course are better. This is rank venality."
