This is a really smart way to work, and yet probably frowned upon in most UK companies as bad ideas and failed ideas will still diminish your standing in most corporate cultures.

The big strength of the US digital sector is the way it embraces and even rewards failures (and bad ideas) as an essential step on the way to good ideas and success.  

This takes real courage to do it in a UK corporate culture.
