Check out how Pamela Lloyd describes it :-) Pamela D Lloyd's insight:An excellent overview of learning theories, providing not just a synopsis of each, but the connections of each to the principles researchers behind each and the general field of study. The overlapping and interconnecting nature of the ideas is also suggested by the network of lines between the summaries and the people. A screencast is a digital recording of a computer screen with audio narration. Screencasts can include telestrator (‘John Madden pen’) annotations. Narrated slideshows include audio recordings synchronized to images without hand-drawn annotations. Screencasts and narrated slideshows can be created with two kinds of tools: 1. Browser-based: Create an account on the website and use a modern web browser like Google Chrome or FireFox to record, save and share it. 2. The investigation shows that almost all objectives, teaching tasks and concepts of thecurriculum can be promoted with the aid of tablet computers. Nevertheless, a lot ofprerequisites in terms of hardware and software are required for a successful integration of tablets. When it comes to using web resources with our students, time plays a decisive role.It is next to impossible for a busy teacher restricted by curriculum constraints, day to day lesson preparations, assignment corrections, to mention but a few of his chores, to effectively search the web and find the adequate resources to share with his/ her students. Most people just do not have the time to learn all these technologies and some educators pick just one or two websites of interest and start exploring them.

The framework is based on a distinction between a monological, a dialogical, and a polyphonic form of teaching. The three forms of teaching can be distinguished by their different perceptions of how learning takes place, and by their different perceptions of the relations between subject matter, teacher and student. By considering which form of teaching one wants to practice, one may, on the basis of the pedagogical framework, assess whether it would be appropriate to use a specific tool in teaching.
The monological form of teaching – Learning is the student's acquisition of this knowledge.Tools – distributing and intermediary tools.
The dialogical form of teaching – Learning is seen as the student's development of this inherent basis of knowledge. Tools that support students' problem oriented; simulations and more advanced learning games.
The polyphonic form of teaching – Learning is the student's participation in exchange of many different individuals' perception of the world.
Tools that support equal collaboration
