50 Resources to Use Animation as a Teaching Tool

50 Resources to Use Animation as a Teaching Tool | Create, Innovate & Evaluate in Higher Education | Scoop.it
Ready to Go Animation
Via Ana Cristina Pratas
Alfredo Corell's insight:

Some of the animation links catalogued here will give educators very basic tools and histories of animation while others have the animation already created and set in motion, it’s just a matter of sharing it with students.

Educators need to decide which tool is best for them. If you want to create your own animation from scratch, then you want to go to sites such as Animwork. If you want to select from animation that’s already set up for you then perhaps Explainia makes more sense.

Animaps - Create and view animated maps

Animaps - Create and view animated maps | Create, Innovate & Evaluate in Higher Education | Scoop.it
Create and view beautifully informative animated maps, for free!

Animaps extends the My Maps feature of Google Maps by letting you create maps with markers that move, images and text that pop up on cue, and lines and shapes that change over time.

When you send your Animap to friends it appears like a video - they can play, pause, slow and speed up the action!
